Hey just a quick post partly because I haven’t put anything new on here for a while but also just to give my band a quick shameless plug. Have a look at Incognito’s myspace by clicking HERE

Theres a couple of tracks on there that we recorded last year on a really bad quality setup, but there will be new tracks on there within the next couple of weeks, so keep checking back.

Got up stupidly early to go into school far too early to revise for an exam that started around 8:45. So I went in and met my mate Joe and we talked maths for a while, realising we actually had a lot to go over. The exam was stupidly difficult and altho I thought I understood the topics before going into the exam, I came out realising I didnt. However it was my last exam until June, which is damn cool.

Oh well, came home after that and setup my drumkit for the first time in aaaages, before Christmas was the last time its been setup at home. Played on that for a while, wasted a few hours, Sam and Charlotte came round and we had band practice for the firt time in aaaaaages aswell. We have done a recording session but other than that its the first time weve played together since before Christmas and it was great :D .

We’re well on the way to finishing another two songs. One of which has more of a classic rock feel to it and the other has a real driving marching rhythm and a great keyboard led melody. Special Price and I Fear Nothing are the titles, you might hear some soon!

Just a quick post to mention Incognito, the band I’m currently the drummer for.
Due to a few things that happened towards the end of 2005 the band got put on hold for a while over the xmas period so not much has happened. Also the onset of January exams made us put practices on hold for a little longer.

However! This does not mean to say we havent been doing anything! We managed to wangle some free studio sessions. So, last Friday we spent a few hours in the studio and we recorded Flee From The Demon which is currently being mixed down for us. (Thanks to Counterfeit Productions at West Herts College for all that). This session went amazingly well considering we hadn’t practiced since before Xmas, we had about a weeks notice for the session and only one thing had to be re-recorded.

We have a second session arranged for about 6 weeks time ish, possibly sooner I can’t really remember but we should be able to spend longer then and maybe get 2 or 3 more songs recorded. Maybe some new material! Just have to see what happens. We should be much more prepared for this session as we will be rehearsing/writing together again as of the start of February.

Lets hope 2006 carrys on being as successful as it has been so far for Incognito and hopefully there should be a chance to see us live soon!
